But as her uncanny ability to weave enthralling historic tales lands her in the limelight, she quickly finds that fame sometimes comes with a price.

Evil forces now know who she is and threaten to reveal her family’s most sacred magical secrets.

With the help of her ruggedly handsome editor and a sexy supernatural ex-boyfriend, Ivy must unravel history while fighting to keep these ominous forces at bay.

Will Ivy be able to make the ultimate sacrifice for the people she loves the most?

Time Spell Dream Cast

When I first started the writing process for Time Spell, the characters were visual creations in my head. I didn’t have a particular face or actor in mind to play each part. I kept a large storyboard near my desk with pictures of the clothes, the scenery, and potential character look-alikes, and as I moved through the book, I added to the board. As this book has evolved and readers discussed the story with me, I heard more and more about who they pictured as Jack, Finn or Ivy while they read the book. So now, I’ve created my dream world scenario for the casting of Time Spell. I think it would be fun to see these stars bring the story to life on the big or small screen.

ImageIvy Grace played by Claire Holt

ans probably know Claire best from her role on The Vampire Diaries as one of the Original vampires. She has the ability to play a sweet, fun, Southern girl with a touch of toughness and a romantic side. She definitely looks the part of Ivy.

ImageJack Coleman played by Henry Cavill

Long before I knew he was going to be the Man of Steel, I could picture Henry as Jack Coleman. He has the perfect build, but also the right blend of the editor persona and outdoorsy-ness that embodies Jack.

Finn Delano played by Stephen Amell

There are a lot of actors on my board that compiled together to form the always-charming, sexy, Detective Delano. Jesse Pavelka and Ian Somerhalder helped me channel Finn’s character. When it comes down to just one choice, I think Stephen Amell from Arrow, could definitely pull together all of the elements and sweep Ivy off her feet.

Ian Grace played by Dylan Bruce

Good looks run in the Grace family. Ivy’s older brother and Finn’s best friend is no exception.

ImageViolet Grace played by Michelle Pfieffer

Michelle is an iconic beauty—who better to play the Southern lady who has captured Sullen’s Grove with her magical talents? Pull her hair back in a bun, add some pearls, and voila!

Richard Grace played by Tom Hanks

With a few extra pounds and grey hair, the popular star could slip right into the role of Ivy’s larger-than-life and over-protective dad.

Helen Chadsworth played by Diane Kruger

Beautiful, sophisticated, and oozing with class, Diane Kruger is the perfect woman to pull off the role of Helen Chadsworth.

Holden Chadsworth played by Ioan Gruffudd

A fan favorite from the Fantastic Four, Gruffudd would need to tap into his darker side to play the devilish casino tycoon, Holden Chadsworth.

ImageSimone Davis played by Megan Fox

Simone’s character is one of the only roles I pictured from my initial writing as Megan Fox. Megan combines playfulness and sexiness to the highest degree. She’s a perfect Simone.

Holly played by Rachel Bilson

The role of Ivy’s fun-loving, optimistic cousin, Holly, would be a great fit for Bilson. Peppy and energetic are in her wheelhouse.
T.A. Foster is a Southern girl whose heart and spirit are connected to the beach. She grew up catching rays and chasing waves along the North Carolina Outer Banks and now resides in the state with her adventurous pilot husband, two children and two canine kiddos.
Her long love affair with books started at an early age and as soon as she was able, she transformed imaginative stories into words on paper. Time Spell is T.A.’s debut novel, and the first in a series about a very adventurous, clever, and magical girl named Ivy.
T.A. has an undergraduate degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a graduate degree in Educational Psychology from Texas A&M University. When she’s not chasing her two-legged and four-legged children or trying to escape for date night, you can find her reading, writing or planning her next beach trip.
