Welcome to Day #8 of the Summer Wrap-Up Read-a-Thon! I hope everyone's goals are going well and you're having fun! Today I am hosting a challenge and giveaway for the read-a-thon. My challenge is:
Paranormal Summer Challenge
Here's the basic idea for the challenge: For one summer night,
you have the opportunity to be any paranormal creature that you want. Leave me a comment with what creature you would be and what you would want to do - or leave me a link to your post answering this challenge. Be as
creative/funny/original as you want!
Now, for the giveaway to accompany my challenge! I'm giving away (1) ebook copy of Dollhouse by Anya Allyn. I recently read and reviewed this book - I LOVED it! I'm hoping to share the love with someone else now! You must be a RAT participant to enter the giveaway. Enter in the Rafflecopter!
Book Description:
For fifteen year old Cassie Claiborne, there's only one good thing about
moving from steamy Miami to the wild inland forests of Australia--the
even wilder Ethan McAllister. But Ethan already has a girlfriend--Aisha
Damaj--the girl with a hundred different moods a minute.
When Aisha goes missing on a hiking trip in the local mountains--presumed dead--the whole town points a finger at Ethan. Cassie defends Ethan fiercely. She's just about the only friend he has left.
Is Cassie letting her feelings for Ethan cloud her judgment? Or does something dark lurk out there in the forests?
There's only one way to find out--go back to the forests.

If it's for one night, an angel! I could use the wings to fly and be free, to soar above the city lights and the darkened fields, and to just have a different perspective of the world.
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting the challenge! :)
Nice challenge question! Here's my post reply for the challenge.
ReplyDeleteI would want to be werewolf. I think I'd like to spend the night running free in the woods and howling at the moon, just to experience it. Fun challenge
ReplyDeleteI pick descendant from one of the Greek gods, like In Half-Blood and Pure,(as a Pure, not half-blood) they have some cool powers. Or an Angel would be cool, to fly and have them angel powers (take all the books versions of powers and put them together, lol)
ReplyDeleteI am undecided so much, lol, cuz a shapeshifter would be awesome too (as long as it don't hurt) like Perry in the Shadow Falls series by C.C. Hunter(its shifting with magic more, not painful popping bones and changing like in other books, lol)
The first thing that came to my mind was fairy. They are so magical and really intrigues me immensely. I wonder how it feels like to be a fairy.
ReplyDeleteThanks Steph! Here's my post for this challenge:

It was fun! Thanks for hosting.
Zara Alexis @ The Bibliotaphe's Closet
If I had been asked in my younger years, I would have said vampire all the way. But now... I adore fairies (even when they are tricky little devils!)
ReplyDelete.. and this is going to sound back, heck it is bad... but how awesome, just for one single night to be a succubus like Georgina Kincaid and have the ability to look however I want and have men begging for my attention. Just for one night, though.
Alana @Dark Obsession Chronicles
Well I would be the Count Dracula going on a rampage converting one and all into my minions.
ReplyDeleteI think I would be a faerie for the night because I would be able to fly, which would be awesome. And have magical abilities! If it was more of a long term thing though I would for sure choose Vampire =D
ReplyDeleteI would want to be a mermaid (as long as I can still become human when on land) because I love mermaid stories, I love the ocean (it is so beautiful!), and The Little Mermaid was one of my top favorite Disney movies growing up. I want to have an underwater adventure.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't want to drink blood, so I wouldn't want to be a vampire. I'd have to go with a shapeshifter, probably a cheetah since it's the fastest land mammal and I'd love to experience the speed!
ReplyDeleteIf I could be any paranormal or mythical creature for one Night. I would be a mermaid. I think I would be the vicious kind, the dark and hungry kind. I would like to embrace the dark side for one night. But before I make my first kill, I fall for the hot manly surfer that likes to hit the waves under the moonlight. Fascinated by him I forget about my hunger and follow him. I am able to get feet away from him and as our eyes meet a big monstrous waves hits and knocks him under. I have to save him and after, his kiss will change my murderous ways.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to be a werewolf or shapeshifter. It would be cool to be able to run through the forest during a full moon with a pack.
