I am currently accepting books from authors and/or publishers to review. I would prefer hard copies of books, but will also consider ebooks in Kindle or pdf format. I post my reviews on this site as well as Goodreads, Amazon, and Barnes & Noble. I publicize my reviews via Twitter, Google +, and Facebook. Please contact me if you would like me to review your book. Email: stephward84@hotmail.com
UPDATE: Due to overwhelming response and the current amount of reviews I have to complete, I am behind in responding to review inquiries. I am still currently accepting review requests, however, I may be very slow in responding to your request. I do and will continue to read all requests. Priority will be given to all requests that are PRINT copies, but I will continue to accept ebook copies as well, if perhaps in a lower quantity.
Please be aware that my current turn-around time is unknown, as I have an extremely large list of books to review. If you require a certain time frame for a review to be done, I will do my best to work it in, but it may not be a possibility at this time. If you are interested in doing a promotional post on my blog (guest post, interview, giveaway, etc.), please get in touch. Feel free to contact me with any questions or requests at the following email: stephward84@hotmail.com
Product Reviews: I am now currently accepting product review inquiries as well as books. All types of products are considered for review - they don't have to be strictly book-related. I am more than happy to post my review of your product on Amazon and if the product is reading or book related, we can talk about posting my review on the blog as well. Only book/reading related products will be considered for reviews posted on my blog, but all categories of products will be considered for review on Amazon or a different venue. Please contact me with your requests or any questions at: stephward84@hotmail.com
Thank you for your continued support and patience!

Hi Steph,
ReplyDeleteWould you like to review my new novel, The Concubine's Gift?
In The Concubine's Gift Bernice Babbitt, a sexually inhibited, thirty-nine-year-old woman, leads a peaceful life in the tiny resort town of Valentine, Nevada. Living only two miles from the famed bordello, The Honey Bunny Ranch, she can’t imagine what goes on inside its closed doors.
Things begin to change when Bernice buys an old, black-lacquer makeup case in an antique shop. The case once belonged to Blissful Night, the most famous and powerful concubine in Hong Kong. According to legend, Blissful Night could give a man more pleasure in one night than he would have experienced in an entire lifetime.
Inside the makeup case, Bernice discovers a forgotten jar of face powder with magical properties, the secret to Blissful Night’s success. Thinking the face powder is an herbal concoction that will beautify her skin, Bernice begins to use it, only to find that the powder causes her to see visions of other people’s sex lives.
Bernice is horrified to discover that the only way she can rid herself of the visions is to blurt out sexual advice. Soon the entire town is in an uproar. But it isn’t until she learns more about Blissful Night’s past that she knows what she must do.
The Concubine’s Gift is a delightfully sexy novel in which Bernice is drawn into a seductive world she never knew existed. A provocative and entertaining Pandora’s Box of a tale!

ReplyDeleteAfter a fatal hit and run accident, Ella Monroe fears that she’s lost more than her beloved parents. Horrifying visions of a past life and a disturbing voice in her head have psychiatric professionals convinced that she’s lost her sanity as well. But when Kale--a dark and handsome stranger with a mysterious past--reveals the true meaning of her visions and the tremendous power she wields through them, Ella must come to terms with the devastating truths of her own past, while eluding an ancient Dark Prince who seeks to control not only her future, but all of mankind’s, by means of abilities that Ella is only beginning to understand.
Enter the shrouded world of an age old battle between an ancient race known as the Immortals and their bitter enemy Laurent, the so-called Dark Prince, who commands an army of half-breed vampires known as Chorý. Both sides have been desperately searching for the prophesied emergence of the Arc, a clairvoyant with unparalleled power to recall the past and a soothsayer with clear vision into the future.
The Council of Immortals has sworn to protect the Arc, whom they have identified as young Ella Monroe, a college freshman from Virginia living quietly and unaware of her powers or her past. But a renegade Chorý has other plans for the protection of a girl he has loved through the ages. Can Kale convince Ella of who she is, what she is destined to become, and what he once meant to her? Is he truly the best protector to shield the world from the devastating misuse of her powers that Laurent is bent on controlling? Or will the forbidden love they share and Kale’s cursed condition as a retched and hated Chorý be used against them both?
This paranormal romance told from the heroine’s perspective builds in intensity and intrigue to a finale you won’t see coming. Heart pounding action mixed with heartwarming friendships and heartbreaking romance will leave you breathless and begging for more.

Steph,
ReplyDeleteI ran across your blog. It was actually referred to me by Suspense Magazine (Suspense Publishing). I'd like to see if you'd be interested in reading an advanced galley (e-book, paperback comes later) of the third in my Ivanovich series, "One Major Mistake," which is coming on on July 10, 2012. FI can certainly send it to you in the Nook format. For consideration, here is a synopsis:
"Despite having brought down two major crime families, Pavel’s life is still filled with problems. The two bright things in his world: Teresa Mancini, his fiancée, who, on a good day, has the ability to bring him to his knees and his daughter Rita Grace, a result of a whirlwind affair before he fell in love with Teresa.
Once again, murder is the prime evil propelling Pavel into his latest case. After the murder of his partner and friend Nick Haxton’s ex-wife Brenda, Pavel leads a team to dethrone Guillermo Diaz, the leader of a drug gang believed to be responsible for Brenda’s death. Detective Danni Stone joins the local agency. Stone knows Diaz on the most intimate of levels, and Pavel views this as suspicious.
As if Pavel can take anymore, Teresa receives a substantially large check from an anonymous benefactor, and insists that Pavel deal with it while she decides how to spend it. But not before she uses her iron-willed determination to find out who the benefactor is even if it means breaking into her attorney’s office looking for answers. Being thrown in jail would stop any ordinary woman, but apparently not Teresa.
Join Pavel as he wades through harrowing situations, suspects aplenty and suspense in this third thrilling installment of the Ivanovich Series."
Please do email me at sreina@queenwriter.com and let me know if you are interested. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you.
Hey, Stephanie!
ReplyDeleteI was wondering if you'd like to review my novel, The Dreamer. I'll include a short summary to see if it even catches your interest.
A murderous power, born of betrayal, was passed down the Jamison line, searching for the one who would bring an end to a timeless agony. It lay dormant, until one day it came across a young, unsuspecting girl in the form of a dream.
A woman whispers to Anjaleena Jamison in the dead of night, plaguing her mind with terror, and haunting her very soul. No one thought anything of it, except for Grandma Rose - the only other living person who knew the terrible secrets of Bennett Manor. After her grandmother's death, Anjaleena soon finds herself residing in the manor, and discovers the ghost of Julian Bennett – a handsome young man who she can't help but feel drawn to. Soon Anjaleena learns that, in the halls of Bennett Manor, nothing is as it seems. Follow Anjaleena on her journey to the past in THE DREAMER.
Thank you for your time!

ReplyDeleteI'm a former highly decorated police officer and graduate of the FBI National Academy and I wrote JusThis, a dark, bittersweet tale of a police chief who forgot his oath to serve and protect. Catastrophic events are unleashed on innocents by the scheming chief as he feeds his insatiable sexual desires. Once released upon others, these cravings cause an all too realistic struggle involving life and death.
Steph:

Synopsis below (video is available on YouTube)
In 1902, in a dark room on the fifth floor of Carnegie Hall, thirteen people came together to continue a tradition that had been set in stone thousands of years before.
In 2011, Leah Tallent is Head of Research at the New York Public Library. Stoic and stable, brilliant and cynical, she has forever enjoyed her existence among the book stacks. But even with her unparalleled intellect, there was no way to know that on the historic steps between America's famous lions, she would become involved with a crazy man on a fanatical quest.
Gareth Lowery has spent his life searching for the ultimate artifact that he is certain exists. His life's pursuit has been to retrieve twelve keys hidden by men whose job it was to protect the single biggest secret ever kept. To find the keys he must enlist the help of an unwilling guide who, unfortunately, knows much more than he bargained for.
From the first page to the last word, this fantastic duo become immersed in a whirlwind treasure hunt with historical and passionate repercussions. From the strange and eerie Winchester House to the blustery darkness of Loch Ness, Gareth and Leah will quickly learn that the theory of duality is correct: For every bad there is a good and, for Heaven, there most assuredly exists...Hell.

Dear Steph
ReplyDeleteWould be delighted if you were able to review my book "Brexit A Gothic Novella" which is available on Amazon in both Kindle and Paperback formats.
It is a relatively light-hearted, humorous and gentle re-telling of the Brexit saga from 2016 until now, including multiple choice endings to reflect the state we are in! It is told from the perspective of Pegasus, who is the emblem of freedom – and a group of his fellow mythical friends. Seven politicians: Theresa May; Jeremy Corbyn; Rory Stewart; Anna Soubry; Jacob Rees-Mogg, Michael Gove and Boris Johnson, are captured from Westminster and flown in an “airboat” up to the Gilbert Scott building at Glasgow University for questioning.
The book is largely a set of discussions, relaying the arguments for and against Brexit over the period of September 2017 up to now, through dialogue between the characters. It is coloured with songs, strange dreams and hallucinations experienced by the politicians – and with weather, which responds to the arguments in the way it deems appropriate.
I hope you will enjoy it if you get time to review!
Kindest regards
Aemilia
