Synopsis:
Fiercely independent and smart, Zora Emerson wants to change the world.
She's excited to be attending a prestigious summer program, even if she
feels out of place among her privileged, mostly white classmates. So
she's definitely not expecting to feel a connection to Owen, who's an
actual prince of an island off the coast of England. But Owen is funny,
charming...and undeniably cute. Zora can't ignore the chemistry between
them. When Owen invites Zora to be his date at his big brother's big
royal wedding, Zora is suddenly thrust into the spotlight, along with
her family and friends. Everyone is talking about her, in real life and
online, and while Owen is used to the scrutiny, Zora's not sure it's
something she can live with. Can she maintain her sense of self while
moving between two very different worlds? And can her feelings for Owen
survive and thrive in the midst of the crazy? Find out in this charming
romantic comedy that's like The Princess Diaries for a new generation.
3 Quick Q’s for main TRULY MADLY ROYALLY character Zora Emerson:
What do you like about Owen?
Owen is one dreamy dude. He’s cute, witty, down-to-earth, smart and so
much fun to flirt with. But what I like the most is how easy he is to
talk to and hang out with. I don’t know if it was obvious, but I kinda
felt out of place at Halstead U. When I’m with
Owen, all of those worries fade away, and I can just relax and be
myself. That feeling wins, every time.
What’s it like to date a real prince?
If it’s the right prince like my Owen, it’s sweet, exciting and fun. But
if you add a curious public to the mix, be prepared for things to get
tricky. Always be aware of the closest exit, in case you both have to
dash. It’s not a bad idea to have a getaway
car nearby for quick escapes (princes have access to that kind of
clout). And whatever you do, don’t read the gossip sites and pore over
old photos of his alleged exes. Trust me.
What’s so special about your hometown of Applewood?
My city may not have the best reputation on local newscasts, but there’s
way more to it than what you hear. It’s a place where nurturing
happens, where dreams grow and where love lives. There’s so much good
there. I know this because the people who are the
most special to me work and sleep there—people like my parents, my
stepdad, my brother and my Walk Me Home kids. Come visit and see for
yourself!
