Petite, sassy, shoe addict sums me up in a sentence. Seriously, my Dad says I need Shoe’s Anonymous therapy group or something. It’s not that bad, well, maybe, but still. Anyway, here I was going about my business, covered in puke while dragging my best friend’s drunken ass home, when I met the most gorgeous guy I have ever seen. I was so embarrassed, but he thought I was cute. Ethan reminds me of dark chocolate and sin and he’s all mine now. My own personal M&M. Only thing is, I’m pretty sure he’s lying to me about something and I hate liars. Add that to the fact, I’m pretty sure the town’s trying to kill me to fulfill some centuries old curse, my life is interesting at the moment. The only person I really trust right now is Jeff, Neighbor Boy as I call him. He’s been one of my best friends for years and he’s got a serious crush on me, but he’s never been boyfriend material. At least not until recently and I think I’m falling for him just a little bit. Could be a problem since I love Ethan, but I’m afraid Ethan’s going to hurt me. My life is pretty much upside down since I discovered magic was real, that everything I believed was wrong and that my sister was killed trying to protect me. Can I trust Jeff to have my back and hope Ethan isn’t lying about his feelings for me? Damn The Fates, but I hope so.
I do come off all dark and mysterious, but hey it works for me. Cassie enjoys it and she is really all I care about. She knows I’m lying to her though. I think my heart nearly dropped when she told me her birthday. There’s no way it can be her. It can’t be. She’s everything to me and if it is her, I don’t know if I can do it, but I know I have to. I can’t lose my heart, not again. I have searched for over 200 years to gain my vengeance. I have to finish this, maybe even if it means destroying the one thing I love more than anything else.

CJ calls me Neighbor Boy because I live next door to her. I've had it bad for her since kindergarten, only she doesn't see it. It's driving me nuts to think how much she means to me and she only sees me as a good friend. Now she's gone and got herself mixed up with a liar who is going to hurt her and I can't tell her why thanks to this binding spell. What can I do to save her? I don't know, but there isn't a force on this Earth that will stop me from trying to save her.
