The Fetish Queen Part #1: Reborn is the first novella in a hot new erotica series. It features our heroine, Lille, as she breaks free of her old life - and fiance - to start living as she wants in Florida - helping a friend run an adult store, The Fetish Box. Things are going great for Lille in her new life. She's managing the store and taking it to new levels and not caring about finding a husband. Enter Max - a hot, tattooed Irish guy who runs a pub in town. Lille and Max immediately clash because of their preconceived notions about one another. Soon each of them realizes that there's a lot more to the other than what meets the eye - figuratively as well as literally. The two will discover secrets about themselves and each other as their relationship grows - including a dark piece of Lille's past that threatens to ruin it all.
Since the book was actually only a novella, it was a lot faster to read and I ended up racing through it in record time. Like most erotica books, the plot line was decent but not too deep - but the steamy sex scenes more than make up for it. Lille is a fantastic main character for the series. She's beautiful in a vintage pin-up girl way, loves to flirt and attract attention to herself. She's also smart, business savvy, bold, and determined. She's a well rounded character that makes a truly fun and interesting character that the reader can connect with right from the beginning. When Lille meets Max and discovers his short temper and his growing irritation for her, she decides to have a little fun and push his buttons just to get a rise out of him. She's a tease in almost every way, but with Max she takes it to an entirely new level. The author did a wonderful job describing the store and the pub - where the majority of the story takes place. There's lots of detailed imagery in the story, especially when it came to the erotica portions. The sexual aspects of the book were explicit and hot - which is what you really are looking for when you read this genre. Overall, even though I found the storyline to be a bit on the weaker side, the erotica/sex scenes throughout the book more than made up for that fault and turned it into a fantastic, steamy novella. Highly recommended for fans of erotica and romance!
