Harry Potter: The Unofficial Guide to the Collectibles of Our Favorite Wizard is an interesting look at how much this franchise has effected not just our culture, but the world. The book catalogues several different collectibles associated with the series and gives the reader inside facts and figures that I found amazing. For example, a pair of prop glasses that Daniel Radcliffe wore in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone was one of several made for the film, and was sold for $20,000. I loved reading about the different types of collectibles - posters, signed books, props, and other merchandise - to find out fun facts about them and how much they were sold for or are valued at. There are wonderful full page photographs throughout the entire book - some of the collectibles themselves and some from the movies - as well as quotes from the author and books. The mix of information, pictures, and the quotes made this a really fun read for me - especially because I'm a huge Harry Potter fan. I definitely think this book is a must have for true fans of the Harry Potter universe.
