1. Kellen – the star quarterback, the good-looking kid for whom everything seems to come easily. He is much more sensitive and introspective than even his friends would suspect. His favorite song is Stairway to Heaven.

2. Ollie – Kellen’s best friend, he knows Kellen better than probably anyone. They’ve been friends since they played Little League together in grade school. When they were nine, they wrote notes to their future selves, put them in a container and hid it inside a knot in a tree.

3. CJ – Tall, good-looking, and confident, CJ lives to play football. He likes dating a lot too.

4. Brandon – despite the pressure to excel academically, Brandon is a happy guy and always lots of fun to be around. His secret goal is to perform with a world-renowned symphony.

From THE FAERIE RING Series:

5. Rieker – the handsome pickpocket who is so much more. Is he trustworthy and deserving of Tiki’s love? Or is he out for his own gain and realizes Tiki is the connection he needs to get what he wants? Only time will tell. Random factoid: Rieker is left-handed.

6. Dain – the mysterious faerie who befriends Clara and Toots. Handsome , enigmatic – there is more to his story and Tiki wants to know what it is. Dain

7. Shamus – Quiet and dependable, at 17, Shamus is tall, and very thin with long white-blond hair. He understands the precarious position that Tiki balances, being pulled between two worlds.

8. Mr. Potts – owns a book shop in Charing Cross and loans books to Tiki. His only daughter, Bridget, disappeared during a storm many years ago, and he keeps hoping the storm that took her will bring her back. She looks a bit like Tiki.

9. Prince Leopold – Queen Elizabeth’s youngest son, he is best chums with William Richmond and at 18, they are the same age. Though Leo is a bit constrained by the conventions of his royal position, he loves adventures.

10. Toots – real name is Thomas. He got his nickname because he often gets gas. Sensitive stomach, you know. Reddish-orange hair, freckles – ten years old but kicked out of his house at nine. Was living on the streets when Tiki found him and brought him home to Charing Cross. Tough, scrappy, but a little softie inside.
