Hey everyone! Happy New Year! I hope that this year is a great one for each of you and that we all get to read some awesome books while we're at it! I've been in a serious reading slump lately, so I thought that joining a couple of reading challenges might help get me out of it. Plus - who doesn't need to read more of their review piles? I know I do! Here are the challenges I'm participating in this year:
The Review Pile Reading Challenge is being hosted by Rachel @ Fiktshun - and Reanna @ Phantasmic Reads. There's still time to sign up, so click on the image above to be taken to Fitshun's page for the challenge.
The truth is that I am WAY behind on my review pile. Like SEVERELY behind. It's embarrassing and overwhelming. I need to make a huge dent in this monster, so I decided to sign up for this challenge to help keep me on track. I honestly don't have any specific book goals for this one - as long as they're from my review pile, I'm a happy camper. I'll mostly be using this challenge for my print review copies since the other challenge I'm signing up for is...
The 2014 Netgalley & Edelweiss Reading Challenge is being hosted by Falling For YA and there's still time to sign up for this one too. Click on the image to sign up for the event.
Like many of my fellow bloggers, I love Netgalley and Edelweiss. BUT - I tend to go "click happy" when I see all the awesome titles coming out. I honestly don't even know how many ebooks I have on my Kindle from these two sites, but it's huge. Again - I'm embarrassed and overwhelmed if I think about it. For this challenge, like the first, I'll be focusing not on specific titles but just general titles for review from both Netgalley and Edelweiss. I really hope to take a chunk out of this enormous digital pile, and I'm hoping this challenge will keep me going on that front.
What about you guys? Are you signed up for any challenges for the year? Leave a comment below or link me up!
I'm going to be doing both of these too. Hopefully I'll do better with challenges this year than I did last year. :)
