Freedom to Read Giveaway Hop!

Hey everyone! Welcome to my stop on the Freedom to Read Giveaway Hop! With the 4th of July coming up this weekend - what better way is there to celebrate and spend those vacation days than reading?

On a serious note, I hope you all stop for a moment a think about what freedom means to you - and what we've had to overcome in order to have those rights. Freedom of speech and expression is always a favorite for book lovers and a large amount of the population. I have to admit that it's sort of fitting that the celebration of our freedom is coming right after the monumental decision that happened last Friday, June 26, when the Supreme Court legalized gay marriage across the country. It was one of those days that will go down in history as a huge step towards equality among everyone.

So this 4th of July, I will be celebrating our rights as American citizens, thanking veterans and praying for those in the military still fighting to keep us safe and free, along with celebrating the freedom that everybody deserves - life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Although our society still has a long road ahead and lots of obstacles to overcome, we are fighting hard to make sure that the freedom and rights of ALL people are honored and upheld.

I know what you're all thinking - get on with the giveaway already! I've been trying to figure out what to give away as my prize for the hop, and I've come up with a solution that fits the theme. One (1) winner will receive their choice of books from the selection below! All of the photos are linked to the book's Goodreads page. *Please note that some of the books are ARCs and some are finished copies, but all of them are brand new.* So follow the rules listed and then enter to win a book of your choice! And don't forget to check out the linky and keep hopping to the other blogs for more great giveaways!
