Older children are going to get the most out of this book because they'll be able to understand the stories and information behind the photos while reading. Younger kids will love to see the many beautiful pictures and will enjoy having stories about Mrs. Obama read to them on their level so they can also understand some of what she was able to accomplish while First Lady. The photographs are gorgeous and show an intimate side to Mrs. Obama that can rarely be seen elsewhere. I loved looking through them and reading the accompanying stories and information about the former First Lady. I wasn't aware of some of the things she had done - it's very impressive and makes me appreciate her even more than I already did. Definitely recommended for older children who can read themselves, younger kids who can be read to, and even adults who would like a closer look at Mrs. Obama and her years in the White House.
