For fans of television shows Black Mirror and Westworld,
this compelling, mind-bending novel is a twisted look into the future,
exploring how far we will go to remake ourselves into the perfect human
specimen and what it means to be human at all.
Set in our world, spanning the near to distant futures, Stronger, Faster, and More Beautiful is a novel made up of six interconnected stories that ask how far we will go to remake ourselves into the perfect human specimens, and how hard that will push the definition of "human."
This extraordinary work explores the amazing possibilities of genetic manipulation and life extension, as well as the ethical quandaries that will arise with these advances. The results range from the heavenly to the monstrous. Deeply thoughtful, poignant, horrifying, and action-packed, Arwen Elys Dayton's Stronger, Faster, and More Beautiful is groundbreaking in both form and substance.

Stronger, Faster and More Beautiful is an exceptional collection of short stories that takes the reader into the future of humankind to see some of the possibilities that may be awaiting us. I don't normally like short stories, but I enjoyed this book a lot - mostly because of the way it was written. I liked how we go further into the future with each story, yet they are all interconnected. There are so many ideas and topics the book touches on that make the reader really think and even can be debated. Where would you stand in each of these stories? Would you agree with everything allowed to be done or would you be more of a 'naturalist'? How far should humankind be allowed to go when it comes to perfecting a species and changing it's very essence and DNA? So many other questions are brought about when reading this book and it really made me sit back and think after each story. The scary part is that these things aren't that far-fetched and I can see them actually happening. When that will happen is questionable and all the minute details aren't important either - but the major topics the book arouses are there and will remain stuck in my mind for a very long time after reading this novel. Highly recommended for fans of science fiction and those who like debatable topics, the future, and what possibilities can happen if we let them.
