OMG right?! I loved the original covers for the series - their simplicity and use of color made them unique. But THIS cover, along with the paperback cover for Fire & Flood, is absolutely GORGEOUS! I love all the small details that were snuck in there - the mountains in the foreground and background, the face/eye that is so detailed and defined (and sparkly!), and I love the use of the different blues on the title. Overall, I love it! Now I have to buy the paperback of the first book so I have both pretties in the series! And.... I might start stalking the publisher and/or author because I can no longer wait to read this one!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE!! Again, I love the use of the coloring on the title; the eye/face is incredibly detailed and the fire on the iris is EPIC; and the ferns/jungle scene ties it all together. I know I have to get this now - it's too beautiful not to!
