LAST CHANCE ACADEMY is a full length dark reverse harem paranormal
romance. This is the first of four books in Immortals of Talonswood, a new
series from Amazon’s top-100 author Alex Lidell. With hot shifter-fae,
delicious vampires, one lone witch, Talonswood isn't your normal reform
school.
Although it wasn't my cup of tea, it was well written with a great female main character, multiple love interests that were decently rounded, and a fun story line that the author put her own spin on. I don't read this genre, so I don't know how it compares to other books out there. The plot wasn't very original, in my opinion, and it felt like everything was skimped on just to get to the whole "romance" aspect of it. Please remember that this is my own personal opinion and doesn't reflect on the book or the writing itself. I'm sure that fans of this genre and type will enjoy it and should give it a shot - especially if they've read and enjoyed the author's other works.
