The Monster Twins is a fun children's picture book that is full of wonderful illustrations and a fantastic message that readers of all ages will relate to. The story centers around a set of twin monsters that were separated very early in life and finally meet years later. Once they've wrapped their minds around the truth, they begin to piece together the stories of their pasts and how they are going to move forward in life now that they're in each other's lives. There are a lot of emotions and situations in the story that are very relevant in today's world. The twins are easy to connect with - even for smaller kids.
The illustrations were very bright and colorful and followed the story line perfectly. They are a great visual to go along with the book. I think this is an unique book with a great message and pictures. Highly recommended for children of all ages, especially those who enjoy being read to and those who are learning how to read themselves.
