Oi Gets Lost is a cute children's book about a kitten named Oi who gets lost when out exploring one day - and all of his misadventures while trying to find his way home. I thought the story was fascinating with the all the different references to Kenyan culture. I enjoyed reading about Oi's adventures and all the interesting characters he meets throughout the book. The writing had a weird feel for me though and something about it didn't let it flow right when I was reading it. That's just a personal issue I had - I'm not saying anything negative about the writing or book itself. The illustrations were vibrant and went along perfectly with what was happening in the story. I really liked looking at them and seeing the small details the artist included. Overall, I thought this was a fun chapter book that early readers will surely enjoy.
